Mornington Peninsular

Star Variety: Pinot Noir

The equation for a good bottle of wine is simple:
terroir (land/region) + varietal + vintage.

In Australia the vintage isn’t critical
(although it does become a factor in the
colder climates, Langton’s website
has a great vintage chart.)

By simply connecting the
varietal to the region you
can be assured of finding
a good drop.

In France this system
is so ingrained that
wine regions have
become synonymous
with wine varietals
(for example Champagne
or Burgundy).
